The day always goes quick when you move lovely people, and when we completed a small office move in Leeds last week, everyone was so kind.
Geoff had contacted me for a quote to assist moving his office at Carers Leeds from the Headrow in Leeds City Centre, just round the corner, to Mabgate. Geoff was ace and so hands on. It made sense to complete the job at an hourly rate as he had people to assist at each end, and this helped keep the cost down for them.
Not only was Geoff fast, he was also generous, treating us to sandwiches and coffee from Tesco – we do love that meal deal! He certainly kept us fuelled up.
Carers Leeds is a charity who support unpaid carers in Leeds. They’re a fantastic team of people who are doing such crucial work – it can be so very hard looking after a loved one full-time, and they are there to help with this challenge.
It was only a small office move, and very local, but it was a pleasure to move them. Their new office is much more open and spacious, and should benefit the staff and clients enormously.
We’ve done a lot of small office moves in Leeds before, and quite a lot for charities, read more about them in our blog.
