Greenbox moves people all over the Great Britain. People travel far and wide to be closer to family, to start a new job, to fulfil a dream they always had (a place they’ve always imagined they would live).
Sometimes people don’t move far at all, they just need more outdoor space, or a better school or just out of the city. So many different reasons.
Though sometimes, people are perfectly content with where they are, happy with everything. They just want a smaller house.
And that is what Sanela found, on the same street she lived on, just two doors down – a smaller house requiring less maintenance, with a better view from the bedroom window.
We still used the vans anyway, kind of employing them as enormous wheelbarrows. This saved time and meant we could get out of the property by 1pm before completion took place.
Sanela was amazing. Her packing was impeccable which always helps when you downsize. Everything was labelled and so we knew where it was all to go. This was handy too as Sanela had to get to work in the afternoon so she just left us to complete the move on our own.
I sent her a video of everything we had done before we left to ensure she was happy, and then we were off. Another successful house move, and one of the shortest ones we had ever done.
