It’s quite rare to move someone who works on television but we moved three before Christmas, and they all worked on Emmerdale!
First there was Boe, who used to be my neighbour. We finally got him out of storage and into his new home. A ‘sound’ guy from Emmerdale.
Then there was Luke, another ‘sound’ guy from Emmerdale. Strangely we didn’t get referred this job from Boe, but from another gentleman we moved a few years back who was also a ‘sound’ guy from Emmerdale.
Finally, the last of the Emmerdale folk we moved, was Adam, who worked ensuring that scripts ran to time and fit into the 30 minute episode slot.
Hopefully it won’t be long until our reputation spreads to the set and we’re asked to be an extra on the programme – though which character would we be moving out, or perhaps we’d be moving a new character in? Whichever it may be, it would make great drama.
