Charity begins at home… Unipol Student Homes

After completing a day of removals for Unipol Student Homes in Leeds I was asked to dispose of a number of duvets/pillows/crockery/cutlery/pots and pans that students had left when they vacated their rooms.

I spoke to Unipol and they agreed that it would be good if we could donate these unwanted items to charity. After a few phone calls St Vincents agreed to take them. They provide set-up packs to a number of people in need – women who are fleeing hostile homes, rough sleepers who are getting themselves off the streets, persons who have come out of prisons into society – so they were more than happy to take all the items.
