Greenbox have had a little spate of house clearances recently, all in the Leeds area.
We always endeavour to find a new home for the items and dropped a couple of sofas off at SLATE furniture and some beds to St Vincents. It really helps keep the costs down for the clients as house clearances can be very expensive in terms of the waste disposal charges, the prices of which just seems to keep going up and up.
Obviously it’s much better for the environment as well, which is crucial, particularly with all we read about climate change and experience through the floods of late.
The feeling of providing SLATE with items that were only going to go to tip is a great one, but this time it was even better as they gave me a Jungle Book jigsaw for my daughter. Well, better for my daughter!
